Screening Camps held  - Till 21st January, 2014

From 14th July 2012 till date Chandraprabha Eye Hospital organizes 70 camps at various places of Majuli. Optometrist and Vision Technician from Chandraprabha Eye Hospital examined about 7000 person and identified about 800 cataract patients in the camps. The camp will be held on every Saturday till the completion of the project in 2016. Approximately 5800 cataract surgeries are planned during this period. Till now we have done 3100 surgeries free of cost for the patients from Majuli at Chandraprabha Eye Hospital since 16th June 2012 to 21st January, 2014. We are providing free food, accommodation and transportation for all patients of Majuli.
